Drea & the Marilyns was formed by a group of expatriates all over the world who met smack dab in South Korea's bellybutton, Daejeon. These songs were written by front man/guitarist Drea and were brought to life by her lovely friends Chine (Bass) from Virginia DC area, Stu (Drums) Scotland, Luna (Keys) from New Zealand, and Trumpeter Colt from good ole Texas.

Being teachers in a foreign country, we were all there for our own reasons: experience, money, love, comfort-ability, however our time was shorten when Drea had to return back to the golden coast of California.

Especially being all expats, it felt like we were all en route somewhere; even those who intended on making their new location home. We all knew we were going places; we just didn't know exactly where.
